PHNOM PENH: The Minister in charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Deputy Prime Minister Bin Chinn, has sent a congratulatory letter to Prime Minister Hun Sen and his wife on the occasion of the Khmer New Year.

On the occasion of the Khmer New Year, on behalf of the leaders and civil servants at all levels of the Office of the Council of Ministers, DPM Bin Chinn expressed his deepest gratitude to the Prime Minister. He wrote, "I would like to extend my best wishes to the Prime Minister and his wife for their brilliant intelligence, radiance, physical strength, good health, and longevity to lead the implementation of the Rectangular Strategy of the fourth phase of the Royal Government of the 6th legislature of the National Assembly, accomplishing many new great achievements, improving national prestige, welfare and living standards of the people, and continuing to maintain peace, political stability, and especially prevent and control the spread of Covid-19, by gathering vaccines to vaccinate people across the country, integrating people into the 'new normal' way of living, reopening the country, economy and tourism, hosting the 13th Asia-Europe Summit, maintaining macroeconomic stability and avoiding the social risks posed by the Covid-19 crisis, which are all great achievements resulting from with the wisdom of Prime Minister Hun Sen."

He further added, "Taking advantage of this glorious and auspicious occasion, we all would like to raise our hands to pray for all the sacred objects in the world, the merits of the three jewels, the meritorious deeds that take care of Angkor temples, especially the deities who take care of the new year, Karl Chatva Sak, the name Kirini Devi, please take care of and spread all kinds of blessings to the Prime Minister and his wife, as well as his sons, daughters, sons-in-law, grandsons and granddaughters, with the blessings of the Buddha, in age, class, happiness, strength."
